CTS

Career and Technology Studies (CTS) is a program developed by Alberta Education for secondary school students. The courses offered through CTS provide students with learning opportunities, which they would not get elsewhere. These include:

  • The development of skills to help in the current and future daily lives
  • Improve their career-planning skills
  • Enhance the technology-related skills of students
  • Reinforce and enhance the learning students have been doing in other subjects
  • Help prepare students for the transition from High School to family/community/workforce/high education

Because of the structure of CTS, our schools are able to develop programs which will meet the needs of our students.
