Preschool

Lakeland Catholic offers a faith-based inclusive preschool program for children aged 3 and 4 years old. Programs are delivered in English and introductory French at our two elementary schools in Cold Lake, St. Dominic School (Cold Lake North) and Holy Cross Elementary School (Cold Lake South), and at Notre Dame Elementary School in Bonnyville. A new English Preschool Pilot Program is being launched at Holy Family Catholic School in Waskatenau for the 2012-2013 school-year.

Program Delivery Times

3 year old Program:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays

4 year old Program:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Holy Family Catholic School 3 and 4 year old Program:

  • Monday - Friday, afternoons

Registration Information

If you are interested in registering your child in one of our preschool programs, please fill out the school registration form and Preschool Selection Form and drop it off at your school of choice.

What to include with your registration form:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Canadian Citizen Certificate (if required)
  • Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic)
  • Any custody or access agreements
  • $100 non-refundable deposit (cheque or cash please)

We also ask that you bring to the school any assessments that may have been completed on your child. For information regarding assessments and preschool screens, please contact your Community Public Health Centre. Prorated rates are available for those who wish to register while the school year is in progress.

All fees are due in September. Please contact your school should you require other arrangements.

Government Subsidy
